We are a team that religiously practices bottoms-up scheduling and will only commit to work that are achievable.
We are currently working on the next version of CM (Configuration Manager) code named SMSv4. SMSv4 will ship in first half of 2007 and will be the complete end to end enterprise management solution. Vista is taking a dependency on CM as the solution for network access protection and enterprise deployment. In addition to supporting the Vista wave, OS deployment, desired configuration management, simplified and task based UI, improved patch management are just some of the new features that we are adding.
We have 50 developers on the CMG team and we are still expanding, we are looking for more top notch developers to join us for the next product release. The candidate must have strong problem solving skills, excellent coding/debugging skills, the eagerness to learn new technologies and a proven track record as a strong developer. The candidate should have at least 3 years of C/C++ software development experience on the windows platform. Expertise in one of the following areas is highly preferred: T-SQL programming, ISAPI and COM programming, security, XML/XSLT and performance tuning. Experiences in Yukon, C#, .Net framework, OS internals, systems management, writing scalable server applications are strong pluses. A BS in computer science or a related technical discipline is required.
